Basic Safety Tips
Although Infinity Lounge is based around the possibility of future generations to time travel, the likelyhood of time travel becoming a reality is extremely slim and the chances of you ever meeting a time traveller are almost impossible. Therefore we suggest you treat any contact from any person claiming to be a time traveller with extreme sceptisism and on no account should you meet with them in person either in public or in private. If you choose to ignore this advice and meet in person you do so at your own risk - we advise at the very least you let a friend or family member know your plans.
- You should not post photos or information you would not want strangers to see. Remember Infinity Lounge is public, so only post information you are happy for strangers to see.
- Never give out your address details to anyone online.
- Never give out your telephone number to anyone online.
- Never give out your email address to anyone online.
- Never meet anyone that you have met online either in
public or in private.
- People are not always who they say they are. Be careful about contacting or responding to strangers.
- Do not post anything that would either embarrass you or expose you to danger. Infinity Lounge is public and many people have access to what you post, including employers, potential employers, colloeagues, and peers.
- Do not harass, use hate speech or post inappropriate content . If you feel a member's comments or content is inappropriate, report it to us using the 'report this' link next to the offending content.
- Do not register and state you are over 18 if you are not. Any user found to be under the age of 18 will have their accounts deleted.
The website allows you to add information about why you would like to time travel plus itineries of times and places you would like to visit. Other functions of the website include a global map where users can see where other members are in the world plus a contact form where users can send email messages to other users. Both the global map and contact form are functions which can be turned on or off at the will of the user and are covered in the sections below.
Infinity Lounge is a website for adults only, based around the possibility of time travel. If you believe a user profile has been created by someone under the age of 18 please contact us as soon as possible.
Global Map
The global map allows other website users to view where in the world Infinity Lounge members are. The map does not display any personally identifiable information (your name, email etc.) but can show your general location. The global map can be turned on or off in your Edit Profile section. The Global Map is not integral to the use of Infinity Lounge and adding your details is done solely at your own discression.
Contact Form
The contact form allows other Infinity Lounge members to to contact you via an email message. Your email address is not visible to other members. The contact form can be turned on or off in your Edit Profile section. The Contact Form is not integral to the use of Infinity Lounge and using it is done solely at your own discression.
Deleting Your Profile
If you wish to delete your profile, you can do so by clicking here. Once deleted, all your information will be removed from the Infinity Lounge website.
